At Chelsey Park Retirement Community, London on Tuesday, January 31st, 2006 Doris Anna (Broderick) Foster of London in her 90th year passed away peacefully. Beloved wife of the late Charles Owen Foster (September 22,1987). Dear mother of Dr. David Foster and his wife Marilyn of Orleans, ON; Stephen Foster and his wife Lynn of London and Suzanne Van Wyk and her husband of Norbert of Red Deer, AB. Predeceased by her brothers Milton and Lorne Broderick and her sisters Irene Smeltzer and Maysie Thorogood. Loving grandmother of Michael Foster and his wife Julie of San Diego, CA; Dr. Bethany Foster and her partner Leslie of Montreal, QC; Marsha Seamone and her husband Blaine of Aurora; Scott Foster and his fiancee Venetia of Chatham; Jeffrey Van Wyk and his wife Stacy of Calgary, AB and Michael Van Wyk and his wife Hailey of Edmonton, AB. Also loved by her great-grandchildren Caleb, Claire, Cole and Evan. Doris will also be remembered by her nieces and nephews. During her life, Doris was a devoted Christian and member of First Baptist Church. She was a well known Antique Dealer and a charitable Philanthropist. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of Chelsey Park for their care and compassion shown to Doris over the last 7 years. Friends will be received by the family from 7 to 9pm on Friday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday, February 4th, 2006 at 9:30am with Reverend Sheldon W. Dyck officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London.
