My heartfelt sympathy to Dennis and family. I am very shocked and saddened to read this news this morning. I worked with Chris at CPRI at the time when she met Dennis. I had some visits at their first apartment and the joy of the start of their family. She was just so full of life and fun, I have often thought of her over the years. May the wonderful memories of Chris bring you comfort and peace during this difficult time.

Dennis and family I am so sorry for your loss. I was so upset when I read this news. I remember all the fun times that we had at the many hockey games we attended over the years. Chris always loved to talk about her kids and loved being a stay at home mom. I hope that you find peace in your memories and know that Chris lives on in those who her organ donations has helped.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I was saddenned to hear about your families loss and although I never met your wife I enjoyed the times you spoke of her with such fondness. I know at times like this there are really no words to say that can help with the loss and the healing. I just wanted you to know I was thinking of the family and you will be in my thoughts and prayers while you go through this period. If there is anything I can do you know to just ask.
Your friend,

I just cannot express how badly I feel for all of you. I’ve only known you all for a short time but have grown to care about each of you. I really liked Chris and enjoyed her visits and our chats about family and past and present neighbours (and cats)….and I truly enjoyed the tomatoes! I’m going to miss Chris, we all are. Gary and I will always be there if any of you need anything. Even if it’s just to talk. My sincerest condolences.

Dear Dennis and Family:
The boys and I were so very sorry to read of your loss.
Please know that we have many memories of the kindness Chris showed to Grandma and Grandpa, Ray and Jean Card, and we chuckle as we remember you both fishing out ducklings trapped one day in their storm sewer.
Though words will be inadequate in providing comfort, know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

It was with saddness that I heard of the recent passing of Chris. As a new single Mum in Lockwood Park 14 years ago, I needed before school care for my young son. Chris was there to offer us both the support we needed at that time. One of my older children (April) also attended school with Dayna & still has pictures of the year end pool party that Chris hosted. Please accept our condolences on this tragic loss. Makes us all look at priorities a little more closely.
