Obituary
PENNER — Jane Shirley (nee Fry). Peacefully at Meadow Park Retirement Home, London, on Sunday April 17 2004, Jane Penner of London in her 87th year. Beloved wife of Henry for 64 years. Dear mother of Sharon Stewart and her husband Jim and Michael Penner and his wife Colleen. Loving grandmother of Chris Stewart and his wife Tamara, Olivia, Laura, Emily and Brady Penner and great-grandmother to Jeremy Stewart. Jane’s gentle spirit and kind-hearted manner will be forever missed by those who filled her life. Always more concerned for others and encouraging, Jane was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. There is no greater calling in life than to be a mom. At Jane’s request, there will be no funeral service. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations would be appreciated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 617 Wellington Street, London N6A 3R6. A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London (433-5184), in care of arrangements. On line condolences accepted at www.amgeorgefh.on.ca

Mike Penner, it’s an old friend from Mitchell’s Bay, Owen Roberts, passing on condolences about your mom (I saw the notice in the Courier Press). I hope you and your family are persevering, and finding strength and solace in the legacy your mom leaves in you.
Best regards,
Owen
