Dear Pat and Family:
I was so sorry to read about Peter this morning in the paper. The whole DeActis family has been so kind over the years to firstly Chris (especially Linda and Laurie) and then to Dad and Olga when they were going through difficult times that I will never forget your acts of kindness. A good family grows and is nurtured through good roots and strong leadership and I know that you Pat, and Peter have indeed provided that through love to all your family. Please know that both Doug and I will keep you in our prayers at this time; It’s so good to know that Peter is at peace and out of pain. If there’s ever anything that you need, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Thinking of you all,
Judy & Doug Croden

Dear Pat & family,
It was with mixed emotions that I learned of Pete’s passing. I rejoice with him in his promotion to the presence of the Saviour he loved, and yet I sense the tremendous loss that you must be feeling right now. May the Lord strengthen and sustain you, and give you great encouragement in looking forward to that great meeting in heaven one day when we will again enjoy fellowship with Pete. I would love to be able to be with you for the celebration of Pete’s life, but I am presently working in Jilin, China so it is just not possible.
God bless!
