I am saddened to hear of the loss of Aunt Frances today. My thoughts and prayers are with Uncle Bill and the family during this difficult time. Her thoughtful cards that arrived to commemorate every special occasion of mine will be greatly missed. They always brought a smile to my face and made the day extra special. I hope she is now at peace up in heaven, I know that my grandparents Momma and Boppa (Anne and Gordon Handforth) would greet her with a smile.
Love to you all,

Aunt Frances was a caring, loving woman who remembered every special occasion, birthday, wedding, anniversary with a card or letter. My Mother, Anne Handforth, was kept up to date on all the changes in London and her old friends there through Frances’ letters. I remember Aunt Frances and Uncle Bill giving me some beautiful slippers one Christmas, they were made of gold lace…just what a little girl would and did love. Slippers like a Princess would wear. After my parents died, loving letters from Frances helped me through my grief and sadness, reminding me that I still had family in Canada who cared. Uncle Bill, Bill, Marg and family, I’m thinking of you and sending you love and prayers to try and help you through your sadness and loss. I will miss my Aunt Frances very much.
