Dear Fran, Michael, Brian, and Barb: My deepest condolences to you on the loss of Barney – a truly special person. His love of life and his love of people was evident in the kindness, caring, generosity, sense of humour, respect and decency he showed to all. You are all very lucky to have lived so closely and to have lived so long with such a wonderful human being. May we all be reminded of and rejoice in the fond memories and important lessons that he showed us by his outstanding example. Although my sons have never met him, he is in their hearts and prayers also because I have shared with them, on many occasions over the years, a number of stories about him which demostrated his special character. May God give you strength and courage.

Dear Fran
I was very surprised and saddened to hear of Barnie’s passing. I felt very priveledged to have met both of you and looked forward to continuing our acquaintance when I returned to work after Christmas. Fran, I know this is a tough time for you and you must miss Barnie very much. I hope that time, family and friends will soon take you to a place where you will only smile when you think of him and of your life together. Thankyou once again for being a page in my life. Yours sincerely, Shelley (Barnie’s favorite nurse….. after you,of course, …. HA!)
