BANGA — At Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care, London, on Saturday October 16th 2004, Tekla (Berka) Banga of London in her 104th year. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Banga (1986). Dear mother of Ausma Upmalis and her husband Dr. I. Henry Upmalis of London. Dear mother-in-law of Ruth Banga of Windsor. Much loved grandmother of; John Upmalis, Dr. David Upmalis and his wife Heather, Martin Upmalis and his wife Gail, Laura Fluter, and Julie Silgailis and her husband Ingus. Great-grandmother of Jeffery, Jordan, Thomas and Robert Upmalis; Max Fluter; Mara, Brendan and Liam Silgailis. Predeceased by her son Agris, granddaughter Ruth Ann Upmalis, and grandson Michael Upmalis. Friends will be received by the family from 3-5 P.M. Wednesday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday October 21st at 11 A.M. Cremation to follow.
