Dear Mr. Hibbard,
I have just read the sad news of your mother’s passing in the this weekend’s paper. I wish to be among those who are offering sincerest sympathy at this time.
One did not have to know Mrs. Hibbard personally to realize how much she will be missed and mourned in the community for which she did so much.
Very sincerly yours,
Dan Vrancic

Jim, Tina, Laura, and Mark,
I was very sad to learn of the loss of your mother and grandmother. I pray that you will be given strength to deal with your sad loss. On the positive side: isn’t it marvellous that she lived for over 95 years?
