At Parkwood Hospital, London on Wednesday, October 6, 2004 surrounded by his loving family, Norval W. Foster of London in his 92nd. year. Beloved husband of the late Edna M. (Berdan) Foster. Dear father of Helen Ditchfield and her husband George of London. Predeceased by his son N. Wayne Foster and his infant son Douglas G. Foster, his brothers Wilson and Burton Foster and his sister Leone Winder. Dear brother-in-law of Ruth Foster of London, Ruth and Ralph Adam of Ingersoll and Isabel Berdan of Simcoe. Also loved by his grandchildren Michael Ditchfield of London and Deborah Ditchfield of Brantford and his nieces and nephews. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday, October 9th at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Dorman Quinton of Egerton Street Baptist Church officiating. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London Mr. Foster served as a Captain with 3 R.C.R. during the Second World War, he was also a member of Victory Branch No. 317 Royal Canadian Legion and was a founding member of the Over Sixty Club also a member of the Independent Order of Oddfellows.
