John & Ronalee – I know that you will celebrate the wonders your mother(in-law) enjoyed in her life. An event in life such as this, for each and everyone of us, has a sense of sadness, a missing – but really it is a moment to remember the joy and beauty, the life’s successes that the person we miss held dear. This is what they would wish, especially our parents. Take care, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

What can I say about my grandma that hasn’t been already said? She was a wonderful woman who took care of me on weekends growing up. I remember fondly the trips to the swimming pool in the old apartmant in missisauga – the walks over to the mall, but what I remember most is cuddling up with her on friday and Saturday nights watching TV.
She had a wonderful fighting spirit that I am honoured to have inherited. Thanks for everything Grandma.
Love Chad

Whenever Grandma pops into our minds, visions of the Pillsbury Dough Lady are what we think of. With the thick glasses, large laughing eyes and round body. Whenever we would all have a good laugh, Grandma’s jiggling body, watering eyes, shaking shoulders and yet no sound would come out, always made us laugh even more. When she finally got a hold of herself, through her Irish accent, she would softly ask one of us grandkids for a Rye and Coke, hold the coke (in such a way that the adults didn’t know what we were doing)!! These are just some of the memories that when we think of them will always bring a smile and a chuckle to our hearts.

John, Ronalee and family,
So sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing.
Although I only new your Mom a few years, I realized that she was a very happy and caring person. She always asked how my Mom was every time I saw her.
She had a big smile on her face as she sat outside the laundry room with her little bag of unmentionables to wash. Take care and call when you feel like talking.

Hello John and Ronalee from Athens,Greece:
So sorry to hear about your mom. She was definately a great great great lady who was very proud of her son. She will be sadly missed as most spark plugs usually are, she was dynamite and her energy and love was nice to be around and it also came through in the type of guy you are.
I am over here still but give you and Ronalee a big hug, love ya man.
Take care.

John,
We are all very sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Our hearts go out to you during this difficult time and know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Dad sends his love and sympathies to you and Ronalee and would like you to know that you are both in his thoughts.
Thank you for all the work you did for the Terry Fox run, the T-shirts were great. It was a beautiful day for a walk and we enjoyed ourselves alot. Dad seems to be holding his own right now, he seems to go up and
down alot and he is slowly getting weaker, but on most occasions his mind is still quite sharp. He has been enjoying watching the Paralympics, it was one of the
things that he said when he went back to the hospital , that he wanted to be around to watch the games.
As always we’ll try to keep you posted on dad’s condition.

Have you ever met someone so cheery and bright
That your spirits were lifted just by their sight
Who always was smiling no matter the day
And made you feel special in her own special way!
That’s Charlotte, My friend Charlotte~
Her brogue and her laughter were part of her charm
Like the words in the song
Eyes that kept smiling, smiling along
Oh yes, she was special
And always will be
In my memory and heart
