At 1.00am Wednesday morning, ‘down under time’ I will raise a glass to Beryl, champagne, with strawberries of course, and think of the gracious lady I met and admired. Whose family welcomed me as one of their own, and who was the Matriarch of one of the finest families I know. My thoughts are with with you all, all my love Janet (aka bludger)
The last time I saw your Mom and Mary was when my Mom died (Sept. 2001). I wanted to express my sincere sympathy to your family. We have many fond memories of our lives growing up on Upper Queens and wish you all the very best at this difficult time.
I was saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. She was a lovely woman who treasured her family. She will be missed.
Please accept my condolences in the loss of your mother. She was a good neighbour and a wonderful worker in the community. May fond memories sustain you during this time of grief.
Please accept condolences from our family. Your Mother was a lovely lady and will be missed. Unfortunately, my Mother is currently out of town and I know she will be saddened by the news of Mrs. Treloar passing.
Our thoughts will be with you during this difficult time for you.
Sincerely,
Drew Cameron
Just last week I learned the sad news that Beryl had died. She was a good friend and co-worker for many years. Her love and devotion to her family was remarkable. She was generous with her wealth of knowledge and common sense. There will be a void in our hearts that will be difficult to fill. She will
be missed by her many friends and the community.
Beryl and Mary visited me at the time of Bill’s death early in June last year. She appeared the same as when we worked together.
I send to you all my deepest sympathy.
Sincerely Joanne Watson. (joannewatson@primus.ca)
PS: Maybe you could be good enough to let me know where Mary is making her home. I’d like to keep in touch.
Thanks
