Our sincere sympathy on Noble’s death. He made my first teaching assignment at Central P.S. in Burlington, a great experience. It was Steve who was resposible for my first promotion to Assistant Principal. We had some fun times at Central with Peter Ross, Gerry Whyte and others. I’ll always remember Velma and Steve in the donkey costume at a staff party.
Velma,we are so sorry to hear about Steve,we enjoyed you both as neighbors and we have missed you since we moved. If there is anything we can do for you at anytime please call us . (685-1620} Alex & Wilma
Dear Velma and family,
We share your grief and fond memories of Mr. Stevenson. Both of you were very special friends to our family. Our mother, Elizabeth could not have survived as long as she did in the community without your support. We cherish our special times with your family at the cottage and in London.
Unfortunately we can not be present at today’s memorial service but our thoughts are with you. We will be in touch shortly.
Love
Eleanor and Barry

Way back in 1962 I started my studies at the Hamilton Teachers’ College. Mr. Stevenson was my form master. I was an older student and was indeed apprehensive about what I was to face. Mr. Stevenson was the consummate gentleman. I enjoyed my year with him and left HTC with only the highest regard for him. My thoughts are with you at this time of loss.
He was a special Master at teacher’s College who set excellent examples for the beginning student. He will long be remembered and appreciated! Florence Merriman
