Dear Family;
It saddened me and my friend Beth Gamble to hear of the sudden death of Jon. As you know I knew him both as a neighbour and socially for almost all his life. He was a kind, caring and humourous person who not only brought out the best in people but always knew how to look at the brighter side of things. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Jon Gilbert; former next door neighbour on Southcrest Drive in London.
Dear Mrs. Eggett and Family:
Our heartfelt sympathy, words can not express how sorry we are about your sudden loss of dear Jon.
He was such a Very Special, Colourful and Interesting Young Man with such a delightful sense of humour, which kept everyone on their toes and he enjoyed that.
We truly appreciated his honesty, inquisitive intellectual nature and his dedication to his convictions.
Shall sadly miss Jon and his smiling face but will always cherish such fond memories,
he was such a good sport when we played darts.
Our thoughts and Prayers are with you all and God Bless you all through this most difficult time.
Sincerely,
Kathleen Maher & Son, Tony, Bill & Terry (Friend Kathy)
I am so very sorry to learn of Jon’s passing. I knew Jon briefly from 1991 to 1993. He had a wonderful sense of humour and an infectious laugh. I am thankful to have known him.
