MEADE….
CLARA (WATSON) MEADE:
On Monday, January 26, 2004, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Clara in her 86th year. peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from Victoria Hospital in 1940 and served in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War. Predeceased by her husband, James Meade (1997), her brother Alvin Watson (1999) and her grandson Shawn Wiles (1979). Clara will always be remembered and loved by her children Marla and Wes Baxter of Eden, Wendie and Brian Dale of Poplar Hill, David Meade and his fiancee Sally Peach of London and Russell and Mary-Jo Meade of Komoka. She will be sadly missed by her 12 grandchildren, Morgan and Lauren Wiles, Heather Russell (Dan), Dan Dale (Angela), Michael Meade (Diane),Dave Meade (Laura), Jonathan Meade, Joshua Meade (Liz), Sarah Meade, Jacob Meade, Joey Meade (Natalie), Jesse Meade and 10 great-grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Doris Watson of Mississauga and her long time friend of 63 years, Elsa Hale of London. Sincere thanks to Dr. Thomas Wolder and all that cared for Clara during her stay at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital . The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London and on Thursday from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Christians Meet Here” church located at 1750 Huron Street”
