At Parkwood Hospital, London on Saturday, January 17th, 2004, Edward Harcourt Furness of London in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Hazel Mary (Frost) Furness. Dear father of Christine Caddey of London; Victor Furness (Evelyn) of London and Roy Furness (Sue) of Sudbury. Dear brother-in-law of Ruth Furness of Sarnia. Loving grandfather of Shawn; Angela; Sarah; Celina; Robert and great-grandchildren Josh and Kayden. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street, South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Monday, January 19th, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Thomas D. Hiscock of Wesley-Knox United Church officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. I worked with Ed in the Housekeeping and SPD dept’s at University Hospital for a number of years.
