I am just loading up the van for a long drive to the Soo but my thoughts are with you today. Although you feel great sadness hopefully you can find comfort in the rememberance of a life well lived. The presence and strength of Greg in your family should be a help in this difficult time. I won’t be able to be there tonight but the thoughts and prayers of Judy and myself will be with you.
I worked (in the Property Section) of the Minstry of Transportation with Bruce and had a lot of contact with him. Bruce was one of my friends at work. I admired him greatly, he was very considered of people and was always kind. A good person to have around when you are working. My condolences to the family.
My thoughts and condolences go out to all of the family. Bruce was a man of excellence! I have many great memories of our families growing up together. He will be surely missed.
I would like to send my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Bruce Bell. I was hired to work for the MTO by Bruce Bell in 1973 and worked for Bruce until his retirement from Surveys and Plans in 1990. I found during that time Bruce to be a person of great humour, fair-minded and truly a good and unique person. I was truly privileged that Bruce attended my own retirement last December. I am truly sorry that I cannot be with you this day and assure you that Bruce will be greatly missed by many of his former colleges and friends.
Sincerely, John Darnforth.
