Malcolm,
Laurie and I just wanted to let you know we are thinking of you and your family as you are going through this difficult time. Although we are from Peterborough and never met your father, we do know after working with you so many years at the City of Peterborough, that he would most certainly be proud of you. No doubt you inherited many of your exceptional qualities from him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Marion and family:
We wish to extend our sympathy to you in the passing of your father into glory. Although we don’t grieve as those with no hope, we also understand the pain and hurt of missing those we love, especially when the loss is so sudden. We will continue to pray for you that you will know God’s comfort and peace during this difficult time.
As having lost a dad (Opa) very recently, someone passed along the following poem to us. We thought we would pass it on to you and hope it might offer some comfort to you.
MY FIRST CHRISTMAS IN HEAVEN
I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below,
With tiny lights, like Heaven’s stars, reflecting on the snow.
The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tear,
For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear
But the sounds of music can’t compare with the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me. I see the pain inside your heart.
But I am not so far away. We really aren’t apart.
So be happy for me, dear ones, you know I hold you dear.
And be glad I’m spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I send you each a special gift, from my heavenly home above:
I sent you each a memory of my undying love.
After all, love is a gift more precious than pure gold.
It was always most important in the stories Jesus told.
Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do.
For I cannot count the blessings or love He has for you.
So have a blessed Christmas and wipe away the tears.
Remember, I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers,
Dave & Evelyn Kooistra, Tim, Lisa, Michelle, Emily and Sarah

Dear Margaret and family, We are sending our condolences on the passing of a very special man who has touched the hearts of many who he has rubbed shoulders with. The separation from someone so loved is difficult and know that we are praying for you. Just this week I was touched by a speaker sharing how he looked forward to glory because then the very reason he was put on earth ( to relate with God face to face) would be fullfilled and he would experience directly that relationship with God in its’ fullest form that he was meant to experience and so longed for all his life. We are rejoicing with Harry that he can now do just that!
Lovingly and with prayer, Jill and Tim Hartwig
