Peacefully surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness at London Health Sciences Centre, South Street Campus, on Saturday, November 15th, 2003 Mrs. Dorothy Macaulay of London in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert (Bob) Macaulay and the late William (Bill) Hern. Dear mother of Dale Hern and his partner Jackie Godwin and Darlene McIntyre and her husband Rick all of London. Dear sister of Mrs. Marjorie Harvey and her husband Stan of London. Also loved by her grandchildren Ryan and Michelle McIntyre and Sean and Brent Hern all of London. Dear mother in law of Sandy Hern of London. Dear sister in law of Beryl Pearce of Vancouver, B.C. Predeceased by her parents Samuel and Edith Pearce and by her 2 brothers Gilbert and Howie Pearce. There was no funeral home visitation. A private family service to celebrate Dorothy’s life was held in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Thursday, November 20th with Reverend Canon Janet M. Lynall of Holy Trinity Anglican Church officiating, followed by interment of cremated remains in Pond Mills Cemetery, London, Ontario.
