My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Dr. Gowdey was a wonderful family man and a devoted husband. He will be sadly missed
Dear Peggy & Family:
The time of my graduate studies in the Department of Pharmacology was one of the most memorable periods in my years devoted to academic training. Dr. Gowdey was Head then. He along with the other faculty members prepared me for what has been a successful 31 year career in the pharmaceutical industry that has capitalized on the experiences of that time. May this time of immediate loss be tempered with the recognition of the many lives touched by Charles in his role as teacher, mentor, leader and friend. My sincere condolences.
