Harry was member of the London Videography Club and was an avid London Little Theatre volunteer, working in the era of Peter Dearing and later with Lockwood Films. I will miss Harry as a neighbour in Rainbow Valley. He truly enjoyed being at the campground and though he will be missed by all who knew him, I know that a part of him will always be there. My condolences to his family and friends.
Harry Ronson and I first met around midnight on a cold December night in 1980 at a tiny art gallery on King Street. We were assigned to film a performance of The Nihilist Spasm Band for a documentary about Greg Curnoe. When this tall, thin, seemingly frail, gray haired gentleman showed up, I was a bit skeptical about what he could offer as a soundman. He soon proved my concern unfounded. At the end of the event we both agreed with a laugh that Spasm was a great name for the band
Sending our condolences to family and friends. Remembering an intelligent, kind, and gentle man.
