MOTE — Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, London on Tuesday September 10th 2002, Mr. Leroy Mote of London in his 81st year. Beloved husband of the late Verna (Glover) Mote. Dear father of Patricia Long and her husband Earl, Ken Mote and his wife Pauline, Linda Tower and her husband Glen, Cheryl Donovan and her husband Paul, Rob Mote and his wife Janie, Jim Mote and his wife Cathy, Larry Mote and his wife Karen, and John Mote all of London. Predeceased by his daughter Donna and son William. Dear brother of Violet Channon, Melba Johnson, Gladys Linthwaite, Margaret Peaker, and Dennis Mote and his wife Sue. Also loved by his 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Mr. Mote was a decorated World War II veteran. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Thursday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London, where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Friday September 13th at 11 A.M. with Reverend E. J. Humphrey of The Church Of The Epiphany officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to Parkwood Hospital Foundation (c/o Veterans Care), 801 Commissioners Road East, London N6C5J1, would be appreciated by the family.
