MACPHERSON……
Anna May (Durdin) MacPherson, after a valiant struggle, in her 90th year, at the London Health Sciences Centre -Victoria Campus. Our mother passed from this earthly life on Monday, April 22, 2002. She was the beloved wife of the late Norman MacPherson (1998), the loving and caring mother of Gordon MacPherson (Joanne) of London, Barbara Lillywhite (Derek) of Toronto and Flora Reynolds (Paul) of Collingwood and the very proud and loved grandma of seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Our thanks to the caring and compassionate staff at 2 Middlesex, Victoria Hospital. Friends will be received by the family from 7-9pm on Wednesday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where a service of remembrance will be held in the chapel on Thursday, April 25, 2002 at 1:00pm with Reverend Kevin Steeper of Elmwood Avenue Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. Should you wish to remember her, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 617 Wellington Street, London, ON N6A 3R6. Barb, I was sorry to hear of your mother’s heart attacks from Derek and again tonight to hear of her passing. It is hard to lose one’s mother but I’m thankful her suffering wasn’t prolonged and you were able to communicate with each other. Love, Rosemary
