DEAN: At home, as he wished, on Tuesday, April 2nd, 2002 Gordon R. (Gord) Dean in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Margaret (Peggy). Dearest father of Carole and her husband Ean Ristmae, Janet and her husband Michael Gibson and Joan and her husband Jim Daniels. Loving grandpa to Ryan and his wife Nicola, Jennifer and her husband Joe, Robert and his wife Laurie, Lisa and her husband Joel, Trevor and his wife Dianna, Jesse, Michelle and her husband Jeff and Michael. Great-grandpa to Emily, Barry, Alanna, Melanie, Christopher, Alexander, Alyssa and Kaitlyn. Predeceased by his parents James and Pearlean and his brother James Elmore Dean. Gord was a life member and PAST MASTER of his CRAFT LODGE, Kilwinning Lodge No. 64 A.F. & A.M., the Scottish Rite, Past Grand Secretary of the Lodge of Perfection, member of London Chapter Rose Croix, Moore Sovereign Consistory, Hamilton, a 33rd degree member of Supreme Council, member of St. John Chapter No. 3, Royal Arch Masons, member of Mocha Shrine Temple, Past President of the Camel Coach Unit and a long time member of Calvary United Church. Friends will be received by the family from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London where the funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Friday, April 5th at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend Anne Beattie-Stokes of Calvary United Church officiating. Cremation with inurnment of cremated remains in Woodland Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Scottish Rite Foundation, 4 Queen Street South, Hamilton, ON L8P 3R3 or Shriners Hospitals for Children, 468 Colborne Street, London, ON N6B 2T3. A masonic service under the auspices of Kilwinning Lodge No. 64 A.F. & A.M. will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 7 o’clock.
