ANDERSON: With courage, dignity and grace, Barry E. Anderson of London died in London on Thursday, March 28th, 2002. Cherished husband of Judith Ann (Quinnhill) Anderson. Proud father of Amelia Harrison of Ottawa. Much loved brother of Terry Anderson and his wife Nancy of Haliburton; Brian Anderson and Robert Anderson and his wife Louise of Osgoode, Ontario. Beloved son-in-law of Marjorie Quinnhill and brother-in-law of Jane Quinnhill, both of Toronto. Special uncle to his nieces and nephews, respected professional and valued friend to many. Barry was an avid golfer and curler of the Highland Country Club and a member of the Forest City Kiwanis Club. Predeceased by his parents Art and Ethel Anderson. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London. Funeral service will be conducted at St. Paul’s Cathedral, 472 Richmond Street and Queen’s Avenue, London on Monday, April 1st at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend Jane Humphreys officiating. Cremation, Woodland Crematorium, London. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Wellspring of London and Region, 231 Hyman Street, London, ON N6A 1N6 or the London Regional Cancer Centre, (research for cancer of the appendix), 790 Commissioners Road East, London, ON N6A 4L6. Special thanks to the staff of LRCC, especially chemotherapy, palliative care, Wellspring of London and Region and LHSC, level 7, tower 2. Their professionalism, support and caring really made a difference.
