WINSTANLEY:
At Mount Hope Centre, London on Thursday, February 28, 2002. Emily (Littler) Winstanley of London in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late John Winstanley. Dear mother of Sylvia O’Connell and her late husband John Jack” O’Connell and Iris Lee and her husband Robert all of London. Predeceased by her brother Harry Littler and her sisters Ellen Monks”
Dear Aunty Iris: I would like to extend Robert’s and my sympathy to you and the boys on the passing of your mom but what an age she got to be. I hope she was in relatively good health. How are you? It’s been so many years since I seen you but I hope you know that you’ve been in our thoughts. We still think of you as a much loved aunt and could never understand the breakup. Mom always said you were a very classy lady; I just knew you as kind and gentle. Our daughter Terri is living in London until the end of April. She is the intern minister at White Oaks United. I would love for her to meet you. She is at the church every Sunday and will be doing the sermon three more times before she leaves, the next one is a week tomorrow. Did Uncle Frank tell you that she got married on Dec. 29/01. Her name is now Terri Widdowson. If you would like to get in touch, my address is still the same RR #3, Acton,ON, L7J 2L9, 519 856-4083. Say hello to Terry & Brian for me. Love Marguerite

Dear Auntie Iris (as I used to call you),
My mother, Pat, my whole family and I send our deepest condolences to you and your family. My mom, found the notice in the Hamilton Spectator about your mother. She certainly did live a long life – I hope it was one filled with many experiences and love. She had you as a daughter, and I’m sure that she felt that to be a great accomplishment. Unfortunately it has taken this sad occasion for me to know where you are, or at least I am hoping that the funeral home will get this to you. My brother Tom is still in touch with Uncle Frank, but I have not been for many years. I would love to be able to see you and talk to you once again. I missed you so much over the years, and I always wished somehow we could have stayed in touch. It is difficult. Believe me, I know. If this reaches you, I really hope you will get in touch with me when you are feeling up to it. Once again, I will extend all of our sincerest sympathy about the passing of your mother. I send you much love, saved up for many years. Your niece always, Kathleen Costello
