Peacefully at the London Health Sciences Centre-Victoria, Westminister Campus on Tuesday, April 29th, 2003, Ms. Elaine Joan Yared of London and formerly of Montreal. Loving daughter of the late Helen and Nicholas Yared. Dear sister of Marlene Kouri of Montreal and formerly of London and Susan Masciotra and her husband Alex of London. Dear great-niece of Katherine Aziz of London. Beloved aunt of David, Stephanie, Gregory (Jean-Marie) and Andrew (Susan). Dear great-aunt of Megin, Alexandra, Caroline and Ava. A graduate of MacDonald College in Montreal, Elaine has been renown in London for over 22 years as a highly accomplished business person and top achiever in the Real Estate Industry. To her family and friends, she was a free spirit, incredibly affectionate, kind-hearted, passionately individual and inspirational. Friends will be received by the family from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street, South, London. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 377 Oakland Avenue, London on Saturday, May 3rd, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 123 St. George Street, London, ON N6A 3A1 or Charity of Your Choice. (Online condolences accepted at www.amgeorgefh.on.ca) Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Friday evening at 8 o’clock.

What a great lady,always funny, always willing to take a moment to chat about life. She was kind and warm to our family. So many of her expressions have become part of our daily language, truly a wonderful person and will be greatly missed.
