My Dad. I miss you! What an adventurous long journey you had! You taught me so much about life I know you have peace now. Love, your daughter, Leslie.
He was a terrific science teacher at Central HS, many years ago. His sense of humour was great at controlling the class with his wit. Being a Life Master in bridge is a significant achievement. Perhaps he should have tried out for Jeopardy!
I had Mr.Lewis as a teacher in grade 13 for Zoology at London Central . He was a fabulous teacher – part of a generation of superb teachers at Central, and an utterly amazing man . Anyone who had a car ride with Mr. Lewis can tell some “ interesting “ stories .
Sincere condolences to his entire family .
J.H. Moore
My deepest condolences.
Mr. Lewis was one of the good ones in the teaching profession who made a difference
To Chris, Norma and family.
Joanna and I are thinking of you in your time of loss. Norm…you and Bob were like family to us for many years…through golf, Florida and education.
You’ll be missed Robert. R.I.P.
Please accept our sincere and heartfelt condolences on the recent passing of a great teacher and friend in Bob Lewis. I was fortunate to have Bob as a teacher while I attended London Central S.S. I’m sure there will be many former students who will share a very similar expression. He made learning fun.
Sincerely, Pam & Bill Hassall.
My condolences to Norma & family. I met Bob at the bridge table. He was an excellent player, tough but funny. He dominated the London Club when I was learning to play. Fortunate to have known him.
I remember Bob from the Bridge scene in London. He was already one of the toughest opponents when I started playing and then directing at the London Bridge Club. I also remember him as a minor official at some of the Mustang basketball games. Condolences to Norma.
Mr.Lewis, you will be missed. I can hardly imagine the impact you had on probably thousands of lives over the years.
I walked into your class in Sept 1983. A cocky redheaded kid. I was about 2 minutes in when you realized I was wearing gym shorts and you excused me from the class. Something along the lines of “you are not dressed for science class so out you go”. Form that moment on you challenged me, maybe I challenged you a bit as well. I think your class was the highest mark I received in school in all of my years. What a mind you had. I still remember the tone of your speech and the drive you had to teach us.
Rest easy now Mr.Lewis, you were a great man.
