Obituary
RAFUSE, Norman…
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Rafuse, on Monday April 9, 2018, who was 81 years old. Norman and his wife Audrey (née McDonald) loved each other dearly, and they were married for almost 56 years. Norman also loved his two children, Martha and Warren, and Martha’s husband Chris, and they loved him right back. He also leaves dear friends and family, especially his brother Howard and wife Linda and their family. Norman was a life insurance agent, and he enjoyed his retirement years as a student of the Classics at the University of Western Ontario, gardening, and as a part-time wedding celebrant. He cared deeply about his family and their pets, and he loved a good joke and telling stories. We already miss his hearty laugh and the twinkle in his eye. There will be a private interment at Woodland Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, we would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society London-Middlesex or the London Humane Society. A. Millard George Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements 519-433-5184. We would be very grateful to receive messages of condolence online at www.amgfh.com

Audrey, I am so sorry to hear about Norman. He was a wonderful man and always a gentleman, removing his hat and opening the door. He was always ready to tell me a story or joke. I have thought of you two often in the last year. Know that you are in my prayers. Love to you and your family. Samantha Levac
I am so sorry to hear about Norm`s passing. My thoughts are with you in these darkest times. Norm & I go back in time to the mid 1940s as we lived 23 doors south of his parents home on Ridout St. S. He was always the good guy in the neighbourhood & seemed to never be in trouble .God Bless all the family. Dwight.
My thoughts are with you Audrey and family at this time.
My sincere condolences to you, Audrey, Martha and Chris, on behalf of me personally, and the Jeffery family. Norm was an important advisor to some members of our family at one time. Personally, I recall some good times with you and Norm, including a fun day boating on lake Huron, which will be long remembered.
My heart goes out to you Audrey, Martha, Chris, and Warren of this sad news. Norman was a fantastic father, busy-bee, and terrific joke and storyteller. I will always remember him. You have all always been my “second” family. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
Although our paths have not crossed lately, we think fondly of Norman whom we have known since the 1950’s when we first arrived in London. He was our Insurance Agent but quickly became our friend and our condolences go out to Audrey and family. He was a gentle and kind man with a terrific sense of humour which we enjoyed every time we met him. Rest in peace friend.
My deepest and sincere condolences, Martha, Audrey, Warren and Chris. My heart prayers and caring thoughts go out to all of you and your family.
Martha, I’m so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time. I am sure your memories of your Dad give you comfort.
Thank you Martha for your visit in Lunenburg where we had the pleasure to have a yarn with your Dad about the ‘old days’ up the road. Rafuse a well known and respected name in these parts. Condolences.
Audrey. So sorry to hear of Norms passing. Our deepest condolences to you and your family.

Audrey, my deepest & sincere condolences to you and your family. Norm always made me feel special. I enjoyed our conversations, his range of knowledge, his commitment to family & his great humour.
