I bowled for many years with sweet Phyllis, she was well liked and always had a smile. My deepest sympathy, she will be sadly missed.
Rest in peace, Aunt Phyl. You had an amazing, century long life which brought joy, kindness and humanity to all you met. Whatever life’s challenges came your way, you met with courage, humour and optimism. A life very well lived to the benefit of many.
Loved and missed by nephews Paul, Peter, Mark and John.
I met Phyllis at Wesley Knox. I eventually started to give Phyllis rides to church, which led into having coffee’s and lunches out. Phyllis was a kind and loving person. I feel very fortunate to have been her friend. She will be missed. My condolences to her family.

I only had the pleasure to meet Phyllis on a few occasions in the early ’80’s due to living out west. She was such a warm, humorous and kind woman who was so easy to like. Say hi to my Dad, Phyllis! Hurray on reaching 100!
Dee-dee; and family; My thoughts and prayers are with all of YOU. I first met Phy, in Dec 1978 in Mtl. When I joined Canada Starch. I was blessed to have shared so much of her life. After 44 years we remained in touch and I will always cheerish having known her for what seems like forever. May all your memories of Phy during her long life bring all of you comfort in due time. RIP my forever friend. Our loss, but the angels will be happy. Sincerely Linda Colman
Phyllis was “quite the gal” as my father Ward would put it. Ann and I enjoyed many interesting times with her in Montreal and Clearwater in the 1980s when she became a surrogate grandma to our kids Miranda and Patrick.
What a fabulous and gentle woman whom was loved by so many.
RIP PHYLLIS, love from Julie and I.
