A beautiful Lady! Oh George – you surely will miss her. All the years I was your secretary but you welcomed my family into yours & we have have been friends for over fifty years with a lifetime of memories… Patsy & Tom – she sure was proud of you & your families! Memories are flowing …
Dear Dr. Hinton,
Tom and I remember your kindness and care for our family during our dear Stephen’s lifetime…I did not get to know Pat, but frequently saw you both at Metropolitan. Our deepest sympathy in the loss of your devoted wife. Keeping you and your family in our thoughts and prayers, Maureen and Tom.
Dear Mr. Hinton & Family,
Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of the matriarch of your family. I shall never forget the kindness, compassion, and wonderful medical care Dr. Hinton provided to my son over three decades ago. One Christmas Dr. Hinton gave me his family’s phone number to phone him as my son was in a fragile state. I did have to call and Mrs. Hinton answered and was calm and understanding despite me interrupting her family time together. You are in my thoughts.

Our fond memories of Pat go back to about 1966, when she welcomed us into her home in the context of a student mentorship program with George, at the medical school. She was kind, gentle, and gracious, but no push-over.
We hope that all the happy memories will help George and the family in this difficult time.
