I wish to convey my condolences to all members of the Read clan and their extended families. Unfortunately I will be unable to attend in person, but my thoughts are with you all, and I have over a half century of quality memories of my Aunt. She was one of a kind, and had the presence of a true lady of class. She always remembered birthdays and was always interested in all family members and their children. We all looked for contact, be it a phone call or a small gift at Christmas. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.. Dennis
Aunt Dorothea was a remarkable woman. Although she was a renowned kindergarten teacher to many, to me she had many other outstanding skills which she was more than happy to teach to us. Knitting, cooking, and baking were things I learned. She also taught me the importance of keeping in touch with family. Not a single birthday or anniversary or graduation went by without a note from this wonderful woman. The main thing I learned from her is its the little things that count.
My deepest condolences to Mrs. Shirley Roos and nieces and nephews and other family members.
Dorothea Reed was my deceased father, Richard F. Carter, beloved cousin. Richard was the son of Frank
Carter of London, Ontario.
We trust by faith that Dorothea is at peace with our Lord God in heaven.
Sincerely,
Mr. and Mrs Richard F.Carter Jr.
