I was so sorry to read about Len’s passing. We were away all weekend and it was very sad to read the morning paper. He had been quite ill for such a long time.
Len was one of the few in Iris I could converse with. His sense of humour lifted my spirits many times. I will always cherish this.
It’s been a great pleasure to meet such a caring family. I’ll always remember the time you ladies came and made Egg McMuffins as a special treat, and all the time you spent with your Dad. I’ll be putting out the Moose and Bear Christmas decoration with mixed feelings – sad about their passing, but glad I knew them!
My thoughts are with you at this unhappy time. You took such wonderful care of your Dad, so knowing that you did everything you could should bring comfort to you. My thoughts and sympathy are with you all.

Brenda and Jane,
I am so sorry to hear about your father. My thoughts are with you as well as with Shelley and David at this difficult time.
I would also like to extend my sympathy to Angie, Becky, and Elizabeth, whom I know but also to Michelle and Dave for a grandfather is such a precious person to lose. Although Ayden is still so young I’m sure he will also miss his great grandfather.
Please let me know if I can do anything to help you at this time.

I still can’t believe what has happened. It is all so hard to understand why we have to ever go through the upset of losing someone close to us.
I know in my heart that Grandpa is much happier where he is now with Grandma watching over us and protecting us.

I will always remember Len’s happy smiling face everyday as he would enter the dining room… joking with myself and the other residents. Dessert was always very important no matter what else!! I enjoyed conversation with Len and family was always pleasant and smiling also. He will be sadly missed. It was also fun learning that he knew my father, what a small world! I remember Len and Gil joking around at every meal time..giving one another a hard time all in fun! It was a pleasure getting to know Len. To the family I send my sympathy and to know that he made many new friends at Longworth as well as meeting up with old.
