Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre – University Hospital, London on Thursday, April 13th, 2006 Dr. Ivan Chesley Price of London in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Ena Frances (Fraser) Price and the late Helen Margaret (Fraser) Price. Dear father of David Price of London; Dr. Nancy Price-Munn and her husband Dr. Barry Munn of Hamilton; Deborah Marshall and her husband Ronald of London and also beloved by Brett Collier of London and Joanne Stauttener of St. Thomas. Predeceased by his son Stuart Price and his brother Lawrence Price. Also loved by his grandchildren Brendan and Rhiannon Munn and Stuart and Tracy Marshall. Dr. Price served his country and community for over sixty years, as a member of the Medical Corps in W.W.II, as a private practitioner in dermatology, attending physician at the Veteran’s Hospital and teacher in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Western Ontario. In the personal realm, Dr. Ivan was a Pied Piper” of children. Wherever he was”
Please accept my sincere sympathy. Dr. Price attended to my eldest son for a short period of time and when I think of Dr. Price it is to remember his genuine interest and kindness in dealing with a young person. We are also members of Dundas Centre Church and even after we were no longer patients he would approach David at Church as a friend. I’m sure he will be missed.

I truly cannot remember a time in my life when I did not know Ivan Price. He was always there. A gracious and humble gentleman who always found the time to assist others whatever the need. Kind, inspiring, truly in a class by himself.

Dr. Price will always be in my memory as a kind and generous man whose mission seemed to be to make strangers smile. When Brendan and I had the pleasure of staying with him and Helen in Florida, I remember how impressed I was by the way his charming manner could evoke smiles from the young girl at the ice cream stand, as well as old friends at church.
