Dear Mary and Family–I wanted to send you my condolences on the death of Jack and share my memories. I am sure the last few years have been difficult for all of you as he struggled with Parkinson’s Disease. I hope the well wishes and love of old friends are helpful at this time. He was such a huge part of Holy Spirit Parish that I really can’t remember those times without picturing him and your family and everything he did, from bringing donuts to rescuing me when I fainted serving mass in that too hot auditorium!! In my mind, his smiling face was as much a part of going to church when I was a child as the mass, the music and the donuts!! Karen Soltan
