Dear Ellen,
I wanted to send my deepest sympathies for the loss of Gunther. I am sorry that I only today returned from a vacation and missed the services. I would have liked to extend my memories of him to you in person. He was a good man and I will remember him for all my life. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers as well.
