My sincerest condolances to the Langford family. I’m away in Myrtle Beach for the month of March and have tried to keep in touch with Doug for the past few months, mostly e mails about golf jokes.I first met Doug many years ago in Byron, when I purchased a refurbished bicycle from him for my daughter. He had such a talent for fixing things whether it was bicycles, old cars or golf clubs. We were all shocked when we learned of his illness this past summer. I had many enjoyable and memorable games of golf with your Dad at Union and will certainly miss his company as will all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Barry;
So sorry for your loss I know what your dad ment to you. That conversation we had on wednesday night when you said your dad was your hero, I think thats what he would say about you as a son. Remember you don’t judge a man by the wealth by what he has in his pockets you judge him by the family and love ones around him… that make you the richest guy I know. All the boys and I at work wish you well and were thinking of you and your family.
Dear Kelly,
I was so saddened to hear of the loss of your Dad. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
