Charlie will be remembered by me as a mentor, friend and someone I admired for his kindness, thoughfulness, generosity and ability to make people laugh in the most unlikely situation. Beth, Tracy and Rob,
The news of Charlie’s passing came as a great shock. He has been a great friend to us over the last 35 years. Through that time there were many good arguments, bottles of wine and a lotta laughs. We will always remember his great style, sense of humour and timely sarcasm. God bless Charlie.

Beth,Rob and Tracey: My deepest sympathy for your loss. May you be comforted by the prayers offered up by all who knew Chuck and be certain that time will ease your pain.
Very sad to here of Chucks passing on. I learned a lot from Chuck over the years and had a great respect for him. I still have good memories of him shaking his head and grinning at me during a golf tourament we played in. He was a great guy and will be missed big time! My thoughts are with his family.
Thank you to all those who have taken the time to speak or write to us. It is coming on the anniversary of his death and it still seems like yesterday that he was telling me to be quiet as I have a habit of talking loudly. Someone very smart told me that I should focus on his life and not the day of his death and I think my family is trying to do just that. He is missed every day of our lives and hopefully we will all be reunited someday.
Thank you
The Spiars Family
