Peacefully surrounded by her family at London Health Sciences Centre – University Campus on Monday, February 12, 2007 Irene Christina (Symon) Carter of London in her 77th year. Beloved wife of the late John Carter (June 11, 1990). Dear mother of John A. Carter and his wife Margo of Arva. Dear sister of George Symon and his wife Millie of Dorchester and Thomas Symon and his wife Velma of Mossley. Predeceased by her sister-in-law Dianne Symon (August 17, 2003). Dear sister-in-law of Les Carter of London. Loving grandmother of Lori Hoffer and her husband Justin of London and Sandra “Sam†Carter and partner Dan Morgan of Clinton. Also lovingly remembered by her friends Heinz and Ella Mueller of London. Also loved by her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family 1 hour prior (12noon – 1p.m.) to the funeral service which will be conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Friday, February 16, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Interment of cremated remains at a later date in Woodland Cemetery, London. To Irene’s family, Irene belonged to our Reaching Out group at Mt Zion United Church. She was a cheery loving part of our friendship activities . We missed her greatly when she moved to Byron. Our group has long since ceased to be, but Irene is remembered fondly by all who took part for many years. The Reaching Out gals
