Joan was my library aide at Ryerson Public School. She was wonderful to work with. She was a careful, diligent worker with a keane sense of humour. She kept me on the straight and narrow more than once.
She was a wonderful person and I know that she will be missed greatly.

It is, with deepest regret, that we were informed of Joan’s passing. We were married at First Baptist Church in 1968 and have known the Carroll family since that time. Only yesterday, we discussed Don’s visit to our home in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia in 1978, when (during one of his business trips to the East Coast) he delivered a present from Joan – for our first daughter who was born in 1977.
May our dear Lord of Heaven comfort all your hearts, at this difficult time.
