VAN NESS:
Peacefully at the Dearness Home, London, on Tuesday, October 17, 2006. Earl Franklin Van Ness of London and formerly of Simcoe in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Elsie Annie (Walker) Van Ness. Dear father of Guy Van Ness of London, Chester Van Ness and his wife Elizabeth of Scotland, Ontario and Heather Taback and her husband Henry of London. Dear grandfather of Jeff, Chris, Sarah and her husband John, Sandra and her husband Kory, Nicholas, Nathan and Anastasia. Also loved by his great-grandchildren Mathew, Maxwell and Ethan. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Earl served with the Canadian Army in Italy during the Second World War. Friends will be received by the family one hour prior to a memorial service being conducted in the chapel of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Tuesday, October 24th at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of London and Middlesex, 555 Southdale Road East, Suite 100, London, ON N6E 1A2 On line condolences accepted at www.amgeorgefh.on.ca
