Peacefully at Elmwood Place Retirement Community on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2006 Vera Valentine (Painting) Jarvis of London in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Charles Jarvis (1972). Dear mother of Ted Jarvis and his wife Debbi of London. Dear sister of Ron Painting and his wife Marg and Gloria Atkinson all of London. Loving grandmother of Ryan Jarvis; Mark Jarvis and his wife Jenise; and Andrew Jarvis and Meghan Hamilton all of London. Also loved by her great-grandaughter Keira Reese Jarvis. Loving aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received by the family 1 hour prior (10:00 to 11:00am) to the funeral service which will be conducted in the chapel at 11:00am of the A. Millard George Funeral Home, 60 Ridout Street South, London on Friday, October 6th, 2006 with Reverend Thomas D. Hiscock of Wesley-Knox United Church officiating. Cremation with interment of cremated remains in Woodland Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario 617 Wellington Street, London ON N6A 3R6 or to the Wesley-Knox United Church Memorial Fund, 91 Askin Street, London ON N6C 1E7.
