I would like to offer my sympathies & compassion to you on the passing of your mother.
Dear Jim and Don and family,
What a loss for the world, what a joy for heaven to receive! Aunt Helen will always be remembered as one who radiated such warmth and compassion and sheer happiness. Her exuberant laugh was so contagious and so heart warming. She truly in her many years enjoyed life. We will always remember wonderful visits to the Grosvenor street house.
It seems that the Powell generations are all leaving us now. Only our Mom, Marion, is left of the immediate Powell wives and husbands, and on her side too, the Bell’s are all gone now. The Lord seems to want to fill up heaven with the best of the best!!!! And dear Aunt Helen was the best.
Our sympathies to you all. Even though she lived an incredible 96 years, it is still hard to say goodbye, especially in a family filled with love.
Know that we will be with you in our hearts.
Love always,
Pat (sister), Dave, Patti and Kerry, and Mom (Marion)
Hello Jim and Mary:
We were so sorry to hear the news about your mother. Of course I immediately remembered seeing you both recently up at Mount Hope. I will always remember Helen as a happy person – yes, her laugh was delightful!! I even have childhood memories of her when Aunt Laura was alive.
We certainly send you our very best wishes at this difficult time. It is sad that we will not run into each other any longer at Mount Hope. However, your mother certainly leaves a wonderful legacy in her family – and our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Fondest Regards,
Mary Anne and Joe Swift
