FORTNER……
Peacefully delivered into the arms of her Lord on Thursday, August 31st, 2006, L. Bernice (Butler) Fortner in her 83rd year. Precious wife of Richard Fortner for 53 years. Dear mother of Charles Fortner (Lynn) of Denfield and Shawn Fortner of Arva. Beloved grandmother of Kimberly, Michelle, Allan, Jeremy, Alyssa and Meredith. Dear sister of Tom Butler (Fern) of Arva, Bill Butler (Ruth) of Lucan. Bernice will also be missed by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Dolly Bestard, Edna Hammett and Betty Johnson. Thanks to the compassionate and loving staff of Middlesex Terrace Nursing Home, Delaware for the exceptional care provided to Bernice in the past few months. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 2nd, 2006 at 11:00AM at St. John The Divine Anglican Church, 21557 Richmond Street, Arva with Reverend Wendy Murray officiating. Interment in St. John’s Cemetery, Arva. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 123 St. George Street, London, ON N6A 3A1.
