BOGAERT — At London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, on Friday August 18th 2006, Ernest Bogaert of London in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Johanna ( Vereecken) Bogaert. Dear father of Rudolph and his wife Susan, Louis and David all of London, Tony and his wife Carolyn of St. Catharines, Stephen of Toronto, and Mary Hocking and her husband John of Melbourne, Australia. Dear brother of Louis and his wife Geine, Cyril, Achiel and his wife Edith all of the Netherlands, Annie and her husband Omere of Australia, Paul and his wife Joan of Brigden, Richard and his wife Dini of Victoria B.C., and Theo and his wife Irene of Watford. Predeceased by his sister Marie Vanesbroeck and by his brother Gysbert. Dear brother-in-law of Joe Vereecken and his wife Rose and Antoine Vereecken and his wife Marie all of Bothwell, Theo Vereecken of Chatham, Pete Vereecken and his wife Rosa, and Nic Vereeken all of the Netherlands. Also survived by his sister-in-law Florentine Bogaert of Wallaceburg and by his brother-in-law Alois Vanesbroeck of Hensall. Loved by his 8 grandchildren Rogan, Sean, Tynan, Taylor, Alex, Grace, Olivia and Mac. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Justin’s Catholic Church, 855 Jalna Boulevard, London, on Wednesday August 23rd at 11 A.M. Cremation to follow. Friends will be received by the family at the church 2 hours prior to service time. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations would be appreciated to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, 800 Commissioners Road East, London N6A 4G5. A. I will always fondly remember the Sunday afternoon visits at Uncle Ernies house and the anual picnic with the soccer game.We were fortunate to have seen each other a couple of times recently and It is hard to accept that it is over until we all meet together again at Jesus feet.

I am so sorry to hear about Uncle Ernest. I was happy to see him at the picnic this year. As always, he had stories to tell and a mischievous twinkle in his eye.
It’s almost 30 years ago, but I still remember seeing him standing in the corner of our living room with a bedpan in his hand telling a story at my parents
