Barrie & Janis and family:
My wife and I send condolences on the passing of Fred. Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend the service this afternoon due to a prior committment.
I have very pleasant memories of Fred and Evelyn. I used to sit in the band, with a very clear view of them each Sunday they attended. My earliest meeting of Fred and Evelyn was about 1965, over 5 years before I moved to London. I had come by bus from Woodstock to visit my girlfriend (Lavina) in Victoria Hospital. Fred and Evelyn pulled over and gave me a ride to the Citadel, even though I had less than two blocks to walk. I also remember talking to Fred many times about items that had been on the CKOT Sunday morning program hosted by your late brother Fred.
Hi Barrie, I’m not sure you’ll remember me-I was a casual with the TVDSB for 5 years and my last assignment was purging files on the third floor. I just wanted to send my sincere sympathy on the loss of your father. My thoughts are with you and your family.
