Dear Pat and Ron,
We were sorry to read in the Free Press the obituary for your father. This has been a very difficult time for you these past months. We have many good memories of our times together with both your Mom and Dad and hope that she is finding strength during this time of sadness and trial. Certainly, we have shared many family times with each of you. We hope you will find comfort in knowing that so many remember your Dad and his caring ways with such affection. Know that our kindest thoughts are with you as you receive friends and expressions of sympathy during these next couple of days. Please give our love to your Mom, and to Betty, AND the children. We think of each with much affection. Unfortunately neither of us can be with you for the Celebration of Life (we each have another appointment we can’t get out of) but will think of you during this very special time. May compassion surround you and uphold you. With fondest regards. Your longtime friends, Ron and Rev. Jan
