So sorry to hear of your loss Heather and to your family. Your mother loved being a beautician at SDM in the Westmount mall. She was well liked in the Westmount community. She was always nice to me as a coworker, she was a small, strong lady raising her daughter on her own and she raised a strong, good hearted daughter. I know she will be missed. Sending hugs and kisses. Karen DeGraw.

My dear nana, What can I say that accurately encapsulates who you were as my “nana” There aren’t enough amazing things I could say to show you how much of an impact you had on our lives. You raised my beautiful mom to be strong, giving, loving and kind, and in turn I was able to inherit all of those qualities. You had such a strong hand in raising us girls to be patient, respectful, loving and above all to enjoy our time on earth. And you showed my kids what life is all about. Enjoy the little things, the moments were given, and love with your entire heart. Your laugh, your jokes, the way your perfume filled the room, and your overall presence are things I am going to miss until the day I join you again. But most of all, I’ll miss the way your eyes lit up when we’d walk in the room. To know you loved us unconditionally and with your entire being, believe me, we knew it. I hope you’re up there dancing away with your mama, Lynne and Anna, and I know you’ll be watching us every day, my wee little angel. I love you forever

I haven’t posted anything in here until now because it would mean resigning myself to the fact that my mum is no longer here. My mum met and knew so many fantastic people in her life and had so many great stories; people were naturally drawn to her for a woman of short stature she exuded a huge presence. A massive void in mine and my family’s hearts will be felt until we are able to reunite. You will always be my shining star, please watch over us mum. Love you always and forever.

I am so deeply sorry to hear about your Mums passing Heather. I have so many fond memories of working with her at SDM Westmount. I still recall stories she would tell me, some being of when she took you back to Glasgow for the first time. Tina was one of a kind, a gem. She loved you so much Heather and her grandchildren. I will keep her in my prayers. May she rest in peace and may you hold on to all the love she is still giving you.
