We are very sorry for you and your families loss. He was a very kind soul. Thinking of you all.
Incredibly sorry for your loss. Uncle John was an amazing person who always was whitty, charming and full of life. I have such found memories of Aunt Sue and Uncle John growing up from sleepovers as a youngster to being old enough to work with them.
Its is heartbreaking they are now both gone. ??
So sorry for your loss Yana and Mark and family. Hold on to all the good times they will help you in the times ahead of you. You will never walk alone I truly believe this. ????

One of my fondest memories of my Uncle John was during a trip with my Grandparents to visit him in Canada in the early 1980’s. I was 11, and my younger brother was 8. One night in Uncle John’s house, the adults decided to have an evening playing cards. It was decided that I was mature enough (at the age of 11!) to partake of this game of cards, although I had no idea what card games were, other than Snap!
However, it was also decided that my younger brother Mark was not mature enough and would in all probability ruin the evening, so a cunning plan was hatched. Us children would go to bed at the normal time, with no mention of the fun to come later made to Mark. Once Mark had fallen asleep, I was to be fetched from the bedroom.
The plan worked beautifully, as I lay in bed, eyes tightly shut as if on Christmas eve waiting for Santa. Once Mark started to snore, I was fetched and spent the most wonderful evening of adult entertainment I had ever experienced. Mysterious card games, wonderful Pizza and listening to my Uncle Johns louder than life laugh. This memory is over 40 years old now and is still as fresh as the day it happened.
You were the best uncle a boy could ask for and my only regret is that we did not get to meet up one last time.
RIP Uncle John.
