STRIKE, Imogen….
Peacefully with her daughter by her side at McGarrell Place, London on Wednesday, May 27, 2020, Imogen Ruth Johanna Strike (nee Barth) in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late David Edward Walter Strike (2017) for 62 years. Loving mother of Vanessa Martine Strike (Stephen). Adoring Mama of Christian David Strike (Kailagh), Anikah Rose Strike-Sapp, and Mikah Imogen Dominique Strike-Sapp and Great-Mama of Blaise and Everly. Imogen was obviously amazing as her daughter, Vanessa, would do anything and everything for her Mom. It’s so beautiful that she was such a Mother.
RIP to a dear mother and friend to my friend, Vanessa.
Dear Vanessa, Rob and I are sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Reading her obituary and hearing you talk about her, she was truly a lovely lady. Nice to know you were able to be with her when she passed. Our thoughts are with you, Stephen and the rest of your family.
Tante Imo, what an Aunt! She was not only “just an Aunt”, and she was so much more than just my elder. A lover of life, a giver, wise woman, holistic and herbal enthusiast, educator, protector and uniter of family, sister and loyal friend to my father, confidant and dear friend to me.
Tante Imo was beautiful, clever, witty, inquisitive and had a zest for languages and learning.
She was the brave pioneer to introduce herself and then the family to acupuncture which planted the seeds for my future career and life’s path. Thank you!!
God bless and rest in heavenly peace that just got a whole lot brighter.
You’ll be missed but never forgotten.
Love, Byron and family.
