GRUNDY, Kenneth Brian…
Grundy, Kenneth Brian passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019. Dear son of the late Jim and Ivy Grundy. Brother of the late Sharron McKee. Dearly loved husband of Patricia for 51 years, dear father of Paul (Corienne), Mike and Shayne.

Ken began his career as a first year electrical apprentice in 1964. After obtaining his journeyman’s and master’s licenses, he started his own business K.B. Grundy Electrical Contractor, continuing until his retirement in 2013. Over the years, he had many wonderful customers.

Ken enjoyed his northern fishing trips, especially to the Key and French Rivers at Georgian Bay, Long Point Lodge, north of New Liskeard and Lake Kipawa in Quebec. Ken also enjoyed his sports cars, a 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner and a 1988 Ford Mustang, attending several car shows in the area.

Special thanks to Dr. K. Shu, Dr Moist and staff at the Kidney Clinic, Westmount. Dr Gonder, Dr. Letheren, Dr Weingert and the staff at IV Therapy, University Hospital for all their wonderful care and kindness over the last few years! Also a very special thank you to Dr. Kirk Hamilton, Dr. Gena Hamilton, South West LHIN, Paramed, especially nurses Christine and Lindsay, VON PSWs and VON E Shift (24 hour care) for all the care and support given in Ken’s final days so he could remain happily at home.

Friends are welcomed to celebrate Ken’s life on Friday, September 20, 2019 from 2-4 pm at the A. Millard George Reception Centre, 60 Ridout Street South, London, situated in the southeast corner of the parking lot. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Diabetes Canada or London Regional Cancer Program would be appreciated.
